Who are we ?, by Zorrander
What is Wipus Frequentus:

WF is a close knit group of online and real life friends who want to have as much fun as a guild in the World of Warcraft as possible.

Apart from idling in Shattrath, we are primarily a PvE oriented raiding guild and we try to have some decent progress PvE wise. Although we will probably always be one step behind the highest raiding tier, we still strive for getting raid content done. This means we will aim for having a raid 4 nights a week. Knowing that the average age in the guild is somewhat higher than in other guilds, and all the IRL stuff being a “grown-up” cause, we don't expect anyone to have a 100% attendance. We do appreciate consistency though, so don’t be afraid to let the officers know about your availability.

We are not loot-oriented and as such expect members to be responsible and fair with regards to loot. If you are looking for fast and “free” epics, you can start looking elsewhere. We use a free-for-all DKP system in which any class can roll on any item that is viable for his class. DKP (zero-sum) will still be a guiding factor in assigning loot.

We try to make raiding as fun as possible, and encourage everyone to be in such a mindset when raiding. For example, chatting during raids, speaking on Ventrilo, typing in raid chat is expected and promoted. We like fun, jokes and normal chat during raids. We will try to have music on Ventrilo when possible (as soon as I fix my pc finally ;)).

We accept all classes and specs for raids. As long as we have some tanks and some healers we will fill up the raid with whatever we can get. We are not narrow-minded with regards to specs, and won't enforce specific specs for maximum raid efficiency.

What is not Wipus Frequentus:

Minus DKP and Penalties.
Just going through the motions of raiding can often feel like too much like work and because of that it can become boring. So, we will not make it any worse by enforcing silly things like minus dkp for fucking up. (This doesn't mean your free to fuck up or slack at your leisure, but mistakes happen and we won't punish people for a mistake.)

Progression > People.
WF will always value its players over its progression. Recklessly pursuing results with no consideration for our members is not our style.

What is YOUR part in all this?
We all play this game our own way, and we all have different expectations from this game. As a member of WF there are a few things we would encourage our members to bear in mind:

- Try to participate as much as possible in the guild activites. Join the raids, the instance groups, the special events etc.
- Be kind, considerate and helpful. If some one needs a hand in an instance, with a quest or getting something made, help them out. What goes around comes around. However, no-one likes a freeloader.
- Keep a general positive attitude. A good mood spreads easily, but so does a bad one. Don’t whine, bitch and complain unnecessarily.
- Be active on the forum as well as the guildchat. Make your voice heard (literally) on Ventrilo, contribute to the discussions. Part of being in a guild is getting to know each other.
- Keep a good and open dialogue with the officers and classleaders. It’s important for us to know what you all think and feel about various issues, and its much easier running a guild when you know your members well.
- Have fun!

Raiding and WF: Wipus is still a raiding guild, will always be a raiding guild and as such expects certain behaviour from it's members. It's probably pretty obvious, but we'll state it for the record: We expect raiding members of WF to only raid with this guild. We don't want divided loyalties.
